A Thanksgiving Thank-You

In the wake of Thanksgiving, I thought it would be nice to reflect on the many blessings in my life. Lately, Sebastian has been struggling at school and at home, and it has been hard to find happiness amidst the chaos. But, focusing on the negative really brings me down. Raising Sebastian is not without its challenges, but thanks to the amazing support system around me, I have the strength to keep pushing forward.

I thank God for His unwavering love, grace, and guidance, all of which give me the strength to navigate each day. My faith is the foundation that helps me through the challenges of raising my Autistic son.

I’m thankful for my husband’s support and partnership. Whether it’s helping with daily tasks, offering a listening ear, or just being a calm presence, he is there for me and our family. I’m also grateful for my parents, in-laws, and sisters.

And to my Facebook followers — thank you for being part of this community. Your comments, messages, and support mean so much as I continue sharing my journey. Your encouragement is a reminder that we are all in this together.

Finally, I’m thankful for the little moments of joy in my day-to-day life. Whether it’s watching Sebastian succeed in swimming, seeing him recover after a challenge, or simply being together as a family, these are the moments that keep me going.

As I reflect on all these blessings, I realize just how lucky I am to have such an incredible support system. Raising an Autistic son can feel overwhelming at times, but because of all of you, I know I’m not alone. This Thanksgiving season, I am filled with gratitude for the love and understanding that surround me. Thank you for being part of Ausome Adventures with Autism.
